Passion for Higher Education
I am living proof of how higher education can transform lives and open opportunities that extend far beyond the individual—impacting families and entire communities. My academic journey reflects a deep commitment to lifelong learning and the belief that education is a powerful tool for change.
I earned my first bachelor’s degree in communications, Broadcast Journalism in 2008, followed by a second bachelor’s degree in French, my third language, in 2010. Motivated to serve and give back to the community, I completed a graduate certificate in Emergency Management and Homeland Security in 2011, and in 2014, I achieved a master’s degree in criminal justice. Each milestone has strengthened my skills, broadened my perspective, and deepened my commitment to using education and communication as pathways to empower others.
